Overview

Built for places a handheld consumer scanner will not survive. The optics sit behind an IP68 enclosure in a powder-coated metal body, so the unit can be hosed down, splashed or submerged with no cabinet around it - a food-processing line, a weighbridge, a dispatch gate.

It reads all common 1D and 2D symbologies over a single DB9 RS232 connection, with optional power on Pin 9 so one cable carries data and supply to the scan point. Every setting, baud rate, symbology set and factory reset included, is configured by scanning a printed code. There is no driver to install.
