Workflow
Receiving, processing, dispatching
The three acts every inventory operation reduces to. Each step below is a point where identity, quantity or context gets captured.
Receiving
Inbound castings, plate and bought-out assemblies.
- Read the supplier tag at the gate without unloading
- Tag the item with a durable RFID label at goods-in
- Bind heat number and material certificate to the tag
- Direct to the bay by scan, so the first move is recorded
Processing
Work in progress across bays, cranes and outside processors.
- Record each bay-to-bay move automatically at the gate readers
- Track tooling, fixtures and gauges to the person who has them
- Log the outbound and return legs of subcontract operations
- Surface work in progress by age
Dispatching
Assembly, inspection and load-out.
- Verify the kit against the bill of materials by reading every tag at once
- Record the inspection release against the item identity
- Confirm load-out at the gate reader as the vehicle leaves
