Integration
Tally Prime integration with RFID, IoT and AI
Tally Prime keeps the accounts. RFID, scales and scanners capture what moved, and the vouchers post without retyping.
Overview
The WMS layer for Tally.
Most of the plants we visit run their accounts on Tally. Stock moves on paper, in a register, or in somebody’s head, and gets keyed into Tally at the end of the day. By then it’s already wrong.
The connection goes the other way. The movement is captured where it happens, checked, and sent to Tally as a voucher.
RFID for Tally
Tag the goods and read them at the door with a UHF reader. Our RFID reader handles 700 tags a second, with a read of about 15 metres at a dock. A receipt or a dispatch is then a fact the system holds, not an entry someone has to make.
IoT for Tally
A weighing scale posts the weight of what came in. A barcode or QR scanner posts what went out. Both go into IoTReady Engine first, where a rule checks the reading against the order. Tally only hears about movements that passed.
AI for Tally
The Engineer, the AI inside Engine, builds the flow from a plain description and shows it to you before it runs. If you’d rather ask questions than build rules, connect Claude or ChatGPT to the workspace and ask about stock and orders. See AI connectors.
What the connection needs
- Where Tally’s HTTP interface is reachable
- A user name and password
Tally usually runs on a machine inside your network, so the connection goes through a tunnel that we set up with you. Write to us and we’ll do it together. Steps are in Connect your ERP.
