One hardware and firmware platform, ordered in the configuration a site needs. Long Range pairs the Impinj E710 module with a 9 dBi antenna for dock doors, vehicle gates and portal choke points. Short Range pairs the E310 module with a 3 dBi antenna for point-of-sale and desk-level check-in. A Multi-Antenna variant adds four switched ports with per-antenna signal comparison, for direction and lane detection across a wide opening.
All three run the same inventory engine on the device. Tags are read, chunked and timestamped on the reader itself, so a link outage stalls only the upload, which resumes the moment the link returns. The event a host system receives is identical whichever uplink the site ordered.
