Configuring Wi-Fi by QR code
Generate two free-text QR codes, one for the SSID and one for the password, and scan them into the device.
QR code generation instructions
To configure the Wi-Fi for your IoTReady device, generate QR codes for both the SSID and Password using the free text option on a QR code generation site.
- For SSID: Generate a QR code with the following text:
-> config:ssid:ENTER_YOUR_SSID- When you scan this code, you will see the SSID appear on the 2nd line of the screen.
- For Password: Generate a QR code with the following text:
-> config:password:ENTER_YOUR_PASSWORD- When you scan this code, you will see the password appear on the 3rd line of the screen.
